I had a hard challenge trying to capture the emotions cause every time i went up they were to shy and scared so they juz stoped doin what they were doin and coverd their face. So I juz moved and walked around till i found a real good moment to capture without anoying or making the person nervous.

the things that i tried was trying to get the whole thing that i wanted on the picture and trying my best to caputre an emotion. And also trying to have them in focus.

balance

I though that this was a perfect example of balance cause they both at the same level and both of their body are showing without cuting someones part of the body. Cause they both in perfect angle.

lines

i think that the lines of the flag it really catches the eye of people to look at the casket and not at all the things around it.

simplicity

I think that the building on the back helps the newspaper guy stand out. And that helps people to understand the purpose of the picture or it helps u catch the idea.

first we went in the dark room and we put the negatives into this contaneir with some chemical to clean it for like about 15 seconds. After that we took the negatives out and we cleaned it with a special soft cloth. we maked sure it was clean and dry.

after that we put it in the enlarge in this little metal top part of the enlarger to make sure the image we chose it woulnt move and we kept it in place.

After we try and focus it as much as we could. Then we used this microscope looking things with a mirror that really helped us focus it. we had to make sure we could see the crystals of the negatives to make sure it was perfectly focus.

Then we turned of the enlarger took out a strip of paper to print the image in. we covered the paper and we kept moving the paper to print the different time of seconds so we could she in which amount of time the image looked better in.

Once we chose we went back in the dark room and we grabed a full sized paper and printed the image in the amount of time that we though it look better in.

Once we printed we went throught all the process of the chemicals.

EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM zoom
shot at 1/640 f/2.8
the effect of the shutter speed it helped so dat the football players wont look blury cause there wuz alot of movement while he wuz taking that picture.
the depth of the field it helped cause it only focuses on the main thing that he want to come out. so that u can focus more on the football players in the front instead of the back. thats y the palyers on the back are blury while the ones in the front are perfect.
I think the photographer took the picture on the sideline close to the touchdown.

I didnt get no problems with my pictures. They came out with nothing on them and they look real good.
I think that the best exposure i had was number 8. I realy cought all the people in the picture and i also got a good angle.
The second exposure i think was the best was number 4. I also got a good angle. And i captured an emosion on the picture of one of the students.

Its a 2003 winner. I liked the exposure. And the way the photographer did the angle. And had an interesting picture.
